How Their Story Began

Like many modern love stories, Oliver and Alyssa first connected online.

They laugh about how their “how we met” story isn’t the most exciting tale they’ll tell someday, but what came afterward certainly is.

Shortly after they met, Alyssa introduced Oliver to rock climbing. At first, he was hesitant, but before long they were spending weekends climbing, hiking, and chasing new adventures together.

The towering peaks, endless mountain vistas, and peaceful trails felt like home almost instantly. By the time they returned to Texas, they already knew Colorado would become part of their love story.

A Trail Ridge Road Engagement Adventure

We met before golden hour and made our way up Trail Ridge Road, one of the most scenic drives in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Instead of rushing from one location to another, we slowed down.

We wandered alpine tundra trails.

Stopped whenever the light became irresistible.

Watched clouds drift across distant mountain peaks.

Laughed through windy overlooks.

And simply enjoyed being outside together.
