Their Love Story

Like many modern couples, Adam and Amanda met on a dating app.

After matching twice, they finally decided it was time to meet in person.

Their first date started with tacos before heading to Up/Down for a few rounds of pinball. Adam arrived 45 minutes late—a detail Amanda has never let him forget—but the laughter came easily, and before the night was over, he stole their first kiss beside one of the pinball machines.

It didn’t take long for them to realize they had found something special.

Amanda’s dog, Louie, approved first.

Amanda wasn’t far behind.

A few years later, during the Christmas season—Amanda’s favorite time of year—Adam proposed while she was cooking dinner in her pajamas. Holding the ring box upside down, he asked the question that would begin their next adventure.

The answer was an easy yes.

The couple knew early on that they wanted an intimate destination wedding.

June 1 wasn’t chosen by chance.

It was Amanda’s grandfather’s birthday and also her grandparents’ wedding anniversary, making it the perfect date to begin their own marriage.

Choosing the location took a little longer.

After considering different destinations, they kept coming back to one place—the Colorado Rockies.

Colorado was where they had taken their first vacation together, and every visit made them fall even more in love with the mountains.

Their dream day included a private sunrise hike through Rocky Mountain National Park, exchanging vows surrounded by the mountains, and then celebrating later that morning with family over brunch at the historic Stanley Hotel.

It was the perfect blend of adventure and togetherness.

As the wedding approached, however, Colorado decided to add one more surprise.

The weather forecast called for snow the night before their June wedding.

Amanda refreshed the weather app over and over again, hoping the prediction would change.

She worried the storm would ruin everything they had spent months planning.

Because we were the first people on the trail, every step led through untouched snow.

Standing in the middle of Rocky Mountain National Park, they exchanged heartfelt vows surrounded by one of the most breathtaking June mornings imaginable.

The Celebration Continues

After their private ceremony, family joined them to celebrate.

The intimate gathering honored not only Adam and Amanda’s marriage but also Amanda’s grandfather’s 85th birthday, making the day even more meaningful.

Together they shared stories, laughter, and brunch at the iconic Stanley Hotel, ending the celebration exactly as they had imagined.

Colorado’s Magic

What Amanda feared would ruin their wedding became one of the most memorable parts of the entire experience.

Instead of a typical June morning, they received something few couples ever experience—a magical summer snowfall in Rocky Mountain National Park.
