Long before Colorado became home, I grew up near the breathtaking Tatra Mountains in Poland, where my love for wild landscapes and adventure first took root. Those mountains taught me to slow down, wander, and find beauty in nature’s quiet moments. Today, I find that same sense of wonder exploring Colorado’s alpine lakes, rugged peaks, waterfalls, golden aspen groves, and hidden mountain trails with the incredible couples who trust me to tell their story.
Over the years, I’ve explored hundreds of miles of Colorado’s backcountry, navigated permits and ever-changing mountain weather, and helped couples design wedding days that feel authentic, relaxed, and deeply personal. There’s a word I came across recently, coodiwomple, and it perfectly captures the essence of what we do during adventure elopements. It’s a verb that means to travel with purpose toward a vague destination. I love this idea because it resonates with how I approach every elopement: setting off with a sense of intention and excitement, even when the details are flexible, and the final location might be a surprise. For me, coodiwomple is all about embracing adventure, staying open to the unexpected, and trusting that the journey itself will bring you to something truly beautiful. That outlook shapes how I plan and document your elopement, making each experience truly unique.
That’s exactly what an adventure elopement is. It’s a journey in itself, full of spontaneity, laughter, and moments you’ll carry with you for the rest of your life. You’re setting out together, with your vows and your sense of adventure (and I’ll bring the camera). No matter your comfort level, the day is designed just for you. We can hike up to a hidden spot you’ve never seen before, drive to a beautiful secret location, or choose another activity you love. All activities can be tailored to your preferences and comfort, so every couple can enjoy a unique adventure. The adventure is the goal.
We might find ourselves in the middle of a rainstorm, laughing as we get soaked, only to end up with the most magical light for photos. Maybe we’ll even get lucky and spot a rainbow blessing your new journey. We’ll kiss under a canopy of trees, dance barefoot, or just take in the moment. You two will be present with each other, and I’ll be there to capture all of it—the big moments and the quiet ones. If the weather throws us a curveball, we embrace it or adapt on the fly. I always keep backup plans in mind so that no matter what Mother Nature brings, we’ll still create beautiful, memorable moments together.
The best part? We don’t have a set destination when we start. The perfect spot could be a hidden alpine lake or a jaw-dropping view we stumble upon during our hike. It might even be a place we drive to if hiking isn’t for you. The timeline? It’s all about the light and the vibe. We’ll go at your pace, and when we find that perfect place, that’s when we’ll say, “This is it.”

How does adventure elopement day feel? Can we customize our elopement experience?
To give you a general idea, most adventure elopements last 6 to 8 hours from start to finish, depending on the activities and locations you choose. This time frame includes travel, exploring, your ceremony, photos, and a little space to soak it all in together. If you have specific timing needs or want to plan something shorter or longer, we can absolutely customize the day to fit your vision.
I’m here to help you every step of the way, from getting the right permits to making sure you have everything you need and feel comfortable throughout the day. I provide a checklist of recommended items to bring, like sturdy shoes, layers for changing weather, snacks, water, and any personal touches or special items for your ceremony. I’ll help you pack the essentials, double-check your gear, and make sure everyone feels safe and prepared. My goal is to make the planning stress-free, so you can focus on enjoying your adventure. We’ll make sure you have the best time, and by the end of the day, you’ll have a collection of photos that tell the story of your unforgettable adventure.

How does the booking process work?
We’ll start with a simple video or phone chat about your dream adventure, or meet at my studio in downtown Denver if you’re local, over a craft beer! Every couple’s story and vision is unique, and I’m dedicated to making your adventure reflect what makes you two special. Whether you’re imagining a sunrise hike, a mountaintop picnic, or a cozy campfire evening, your celebration will be designed just for you. I will walk you through the adventure process and timeline samples, share all my adventure elopement collections, and show you sample adventure wedding galleries to spark inspiration for your one-of-a-kind day.
Then I will send you a draft contract and a proposal with prices, depending on your vision, so you can familiarize yourself with them before you sign the contract. I will hold your requested date only for a couple of days without booking just yet. The draft contract will expire after a couple of days. Once official, with the contract signed and the 50% retainer paid, the adventure-planning process will begin! You can look forward to receiving a custom questionnaire so I can get to know you both and your vision in detail, as well as a step-by-step guide outlining what comes next. We will work together to create a detailed timeline, choose locations, and discuss logistics, so you feel confident and excited about every part of your special day.
I will send you a questionnaire to dive deep into your vision. For example, I might ask, “What is the best adventure you’ve experienced together?” I’ll also ask for your love story. I share sneak peeks on social media and later blog your love story after the adventure day. Please be ready to share lots of details! Of course, your privacy is important to me, and I will always ask for your review and approval before sharing your story or any personal details publicly.

Do you travel for destination weddings and elopements?
Yes, we love to travel for destination weddings and elopements! Whether you’re planning a beach wedding, a mountain elopement, or a city ceremony, we’re excited to capture your special moments. Travel fees and accommodations are typically additional and can be discussed during our consultation.

How long will it take to receive our photos after the event?
We understand you’re excited to see your photos! Our typical turnaround time is 10-12 weeks for a full adventure wedding day wedding photos and 6-8 weeks for adventure engagement sessions. We take great care in editing each image to ensure they meet our high standards. You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery within a week after your event to tide you over while we complete the full gallery.
