This snowy-day-after-wedding adventure in Boulder, Colorado, is one of the most breathtaking winter sessions I’ve ever captured.
One month after our wedding, Rob helped me zip up my wedding dress, we loaded up the car before sunrise, and headed into the mountains for a winter adventure.
No timeline.
No guests waiting.
No pressure.
Just the two of us, a wedding dress, fresh snow, and the mountains.
As we drove toward Boulder, the snowfall grew heavier.
Rob laughed, wondering what kind of adventure I had convinced him to join this time.
But that’s the beauty of adventure.
Sometimes you don’t know exactly what awaits you.
You trust the journey.
Dancing Through the Snow
The rest of the morning felt like stepping into another world.
Fresh snow covered everything.
The mountains were quiet.
The air was crisp.
And my dress slowly transformed into a frozen masterpiece, crunching with every move.
We danced.
We ran.
We spun around in the snow.
We held each other close.
And somewhere between frozen fingers, snow-covered boots, and uncontrollable laughter, we completely forgot how cold we were.
Because in that moment, nothing else mattered.
Not the little things.
Not the everyday worries.
Not even the dishwasher debate we always laugh about.
There was just us.
The Beauty of the In-Between Moments
Snowflakes falling around us.
A quiet mountain landscape.
A stolen kiss.
